In some ways, it's better than the second part, in some way it's not.
First of all, the characters, especially Delilah and little Soph are gorgeous. Soph is such a great little girl and she is extremely talented. Also, she loves her family and that's apparent throughout the novel. Oliver is quite an ass in the beginning. The way he talked to her at times Not like a gentleman, bro. I read Oh yeah, here it is. I read the second novel first and must admit that I thought Laurel was like the ultimate bitch.
But she was just a bitch, not really crazy or anything, just mean. The way Delilah reacted to one statement was just a bit too much. But that's my opinion. Liam is absolutely awesome in this instalment and I'm so glad he found happiness. He's so great with Soph. Hah, love him. The writing style is, as I said before, a bit different than I'm used to.
Feelings do not seem to be as important. There is a focus on what they say and what they do which is interesting too. I would read it again! How freaking adorable was this book?? Oliver Wyatt and Delilah Graham had no clue what would happen to them that fateful day in the diner.
Delilah sang to calm his little girl, Sophie, down and ended up losing her job on the spot. Lo and Behold, Oliver just happened to be on the hunt for a nanny and instantly felt a connection between Delilah and his daughter Definitely enjoy How freaking adorable was this book?? Definitely enjoyed it and hope to hear more from some secondary characters in this story View 2 comments.
Jul 20, Sharon Mariampillai rated it liked it Shelves: romance , reads , e-books , boyfriend-material , alternating-povs , favourite-heroines , books-i-have , contemporary. Actual Rating: 2. I thought I thought the lead characters had good chemistry. I loved Sophie, she is adorable and sweet. I thought the story lacked. The story was good but ordinary.
I wish there was more about Oliver's past. I thought this would be like the movie, The Nanny Diaries sort of, except for falling in love with her employer part of course. Just wanted more from the story. Overall, an okay read. Mar 04, C. I really liked the plot of this story. There's something about children in stories that make them that much more emotionally charged and Sophie was such a sweet little girl. Seeing Delilah and Oliver go from lust to love was great. Sophie was such a strong character and I liked that she was so level.
I wasn't sure I'd grow to like Oliver in the beginning, yet I did as more of his true character came out. Plenty of sexy times and sweet moments. Mar 02, Lindsay Thompson-Sublett rated it really liked it. I enjoyed reading their story and I'm hoping there are more.

This book goes to show that things from our past can affect our future and we have to face it head on before we can fix it. Feb 09, Starr rated it liked it Shelves: romance , audiobook , series. Had quite a few eye-rolling moments but it was a cute read. Falling for the nanny is so cliche' but I liked Delilah and was happy to see Oliver put his past behind him. May 24, Amanda Y rated it it was ok.
Fluffy, predictable, and pretty cheesy. Hard to finish. No real plot or back story. May 13, Debbie Hanson rated it it was amazing. With a deadbeat boss, a job she hates and a dream to sing, waitress Delilah Graham is about to have customers who will change her life. While helping a gorgeous man and his daughter with singing, she went from employed, to sacked to employed again a few hours later.
Getting a job with benefits as a nanny is not her optimal job, but cutie pie, Sophie really is an eye opener. Mr Wyatt is all business but on the inside he is sizzles with Wes t for Delilah. It was sexy and silly and exactly the light, fluffy soundtrack I needed on a day of intensive working on spreadsheets and crunching numbers.
Oliver Wyatt is one more chalk mark on the tally of hot, taciturn, millionaires who are incredible in bed and a little controlling. Oliver does at least manage not to be controlling in a negative way. Delilah is… good at singing? The plot with the naughty child was annoying.
Everything is very convenient. But it does get everything moving, allowing the romance to be at the forefront of the story right from the get go. But it is good fun if you enjoy this sort of thing. Nov 30, Cindy Caron rated it it was amazing. Turn down the furnace, because you sure won't need the extra heat, as this book sizzles from start to finish. Oliver Wyatt doesn't do relationships, at least not where his heart is concerned.
Having made his first million before his twentieth birthday, he's no stranger to the "women of the world", but after having his heart stomped on at the tender age of seventeen, never will he lay it down for another. Famous last words! Delilah has had a rough life so far. Having an alcoholic for a mother, th Turn down the furnace, because you sure won't need the extra heat, as this book sizzles from start to finish.
Having an alcoholic for a mother, three younger siblings, all from different fathers of which none ever stuck around, has left her in a position of having to care for them since she was eleven. After the death of her mom when she was eighteen, she took custody and continued as their surrogate, until they were all settled in college and old enough to fend for themselves. All she ever wanted to do is move to New York City and play and sing her music, and now, she's there. But bills have to be paid and jobs are scarce, so she waitresses in a small diner for an ass of a boss.
But when a young child has a meltdown during her shift, and while sitting in her section, she does what she does best When this gets her fired, and the girls' father offers her an opportunity, she doesn't have much choice but accept. But sparks fly between them, and his girlfriend isn't too impressed. Or will the sparks prove too hot to handle? Awesome read. Looking forward to reading Liam's story!
Oct 11, Lauren rated it really liked it Shelves: nanny , older-guy-younger-woman , fast-paced , single-father , asshole-at-times-hero. I have read this book once before. As I have just re read this book, I decided to write one. I really liked Delilah. I liked how she met Oliver and Sophie. Delilah is a kind and caring character but she also takes no messing. I liked the she bonded with Sophie instantly. Delilah also caught on quick to the fact that Sophie was extremely smart. He was a closed of guy.
Delilah coming along made Oliver open his eyes to his actions but not straight away. I did like that he finally started to bond with his daughter towards the end. The chemistry between Delilah and Oliver was clear to see but I would have liked a little more. I liked Liam and I cannot wait to re read his story. I liked that he and Delilah became friends and they bonded over their dislike of Laurel.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a nice read. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series despite having already read it. Sandi, Sandi, Sandi, you never cease to amaze me. Your stories always make me feel such a plethora of emotions and I absolutely love every minute of it. This book truly touched my heart. Oliver has been hurt so deeply that he no longer allows himself to feel love of to give it.
When his daughter Sophia comes into his life after her mother passed away and he has no idea what to do with her and she's scared and lost without her mother so she act out and throws tantrums because she's starved for attention and desperately to loved by her father but he won't let himself feel love again.
She's extremely smart and doesn't know how to interact with other kids. Oliver wasn't a part of Sophia's by his choice. Then he meets Deliah, she's sweet, kind, lving, extremely talented, strong and beautiful. When Sophia freaks out in the diner where Delish works, Delish songs to her and instantly calms her down. Sophia instantly feels a connection with her. Oliver hides Delish to be Sophia's Nanny and they become best friends and their love grows. The longer Oliver is around Delish the more his heart start to thaw and he begins to see what been right in front of him ever since Delish came into their lives.
She brightens everyone's lives that she comes in to contact with. She definitely changes and brightens Sophia's for the better. When Delilah Graham loses her waitressing job because she was actually being good at it, Oliver Wyatt makes her an offer she can't refuse.

While music is her life, she still needs to make a living, so working as a nanny for a sweet little girl, whose father happens to be a gorgeous, kind, hot millionaire, is not a bad deal. She might not have an education on child care, but she certainly has lots of practice after raising her three younger siblings.
While Oliver is hot and sexy, he is taken.
Yet When Delilah Graham loses her waitressing job because she was actually being good at it, Oliver Wyatt makes her an offer she can't refuse. Yet, the man is demanding, controlling and is too enamored with Delilah to let things be. The more time they spend together, the closer they get and the more intense their attraction becomes.
Until the night it boils over. While somewhat predictable, the story is sexy beyond measure and if read by Brian Pallino, then it is even better She really cared about people and because of that she was fired from her job. But the good part was she was hired by a millionaire to be a nanny to his daughter who had a problem and she was the only one she would relate to. So get the book to find out what happened to Delilah ,Oliver and Sophie.
There is so much more to this story but you have to get the book to find out the rest. Great Until This started out as such a cute and fun story about thee perfect Nanny y and a love starved child BUT the author ruined it with coarse crass sexual language!!!! This wasn't the place to use the cold and tacky, overused F word!!!! It made a warm story freezing cold. People today feel they have to be crass and grossly overly detailed and it ruins the story!
I don't need to read what he left in her vajayjay post making love, or as the author con Great Until I don't need to read what he left in her vajayjay post making love, or as the author continues to sink into using the F word! What could have been a wonderful storey just became another crassly written piece of trash.
Sexy And Romantic I really liked this book. The chemistry between the main characters was amazing and very believable. I also fell in love with Sophie's character. I was glad that everything turned out fine with her.

So when he meets sexy as hell waitress Delilah, he offers her a job and hopes that he is able to keep his hands off of her for the sake of his daughter. Oliver soon finds out that things don't always go as planned. The concept was good, and the potential was there, but there was just something really missing that could have made this a really good story.
The characters had no depth; everything about them was just surface knowledge and basic.
