In this program, Eva will provide insider knowledge and resources to help booksellers build distinct brands and increase presence on Instagram and other social platforms, while retaining the authenticity and individuality that makes independent bookstores so special.
Take your store out on the road with a pop-up shop. STEM and STEAM science, technology, engineering, art, and math books are becoming increasingly more creative as the emphasis from schools and parents on the core curriculum holds steady. In response to the demand, a panel of authors, publishers, and booksellers will share their inventive and thoughtful ways of marketing and presenting STEM and STEAM books to children, parents, and educators.

Fabled Films Press, Nocturnal's series author Tracey Hecht, and a panel of booksellers who have hosted virtual author visits will share their experiences partnering with each other to create successful virtual author visits. They will also advise on best practices for stores, and special programs like Fabled Films Press' Read Aloud Writing program and more traditional author and book club visits using Facetime, Skype, or Google Hangouts. What makes this book unique is that all of the illustrations contain each specific letter hidden within them. Each page has a different letter of the alphabet and it would be a great way for children to become familiar with letters.
The illustrations throughout this book are black and white with the exception of bold red letters throughout. Each page is assigned a letter and within the illustrations of everyday landscape a bridge, fence, ladder, sidewalk etc. The letters are big bold and red, so this would be beneficial to a younger or more inexperienced reader who would have difficulty finding the letters without them standing out so much.
